Hey,
Is anybody working with video analysis. That's something that I tried and want to make more often and I'd like to know if somebody had good or bad experiences with some softwares. I'd like to record and watch almost instantly. I would also like to be able to draw some things on the video, compare diffrerent swings on the screen and, if possible make a DVD from my players with their improvements over the season or over the years. I did get a cheap software but the bat of the player gets blurry in slow motion. I'm trying to find out if it's a software or camcorder issue. Did anybody experience this type of problem with more expensive softwares? Thanks |

Dartfish is the best software available for video anaylsis. It allows you to superimpose the great pitchers and hitters over the subject to see exactly where in the swing or the delivery the flaw is. It also lets you draw plane lines through the integral muscles of the swing/pitch to see where the inconsistencies or problems lie. Also, maybe your camera speed is too slow and that is why you are having trouble seeing the bat.

Thanks for the info.
I had the chance to see both Rightview and V1 pro i the last 8 days. I had seen Dartfish a couple years ago and I feel like it is the best but the price is very high. As you said, I'm starting to get to the conclusion that the blur that I get with the swing is due to the camera I'm using. |
