All-American College Graduate from U.S. looking to play in Europe
Hi, my name's Matt Dodaro from the United States. I graduated from Wabash College 2 weeks ago and am sincerely interested in playing abroad. There's a chance I'll get picked up in this year's draft and have been offered to play independent ball, but would prefer to play overseas at this point in my life.
In my four year career, I was a 2-time defensive player of the year, 4-time all-conference infielder and 3-time NIC All-American. I set my school's career record in home runs (25), doubles (43), RBI's (116), double plays turned (82) and total bases (317). Furthermore, I finished my career 2nd in hits (189) and 5th in stolen bases (31).
I top out at 86-87 across the diamond and have increased my foot speed significantly in the past seasons. I run a 6.7-6.8 60 and have incredible range at shortstop and was a finalist for D3 baseball's national gold glove award.
Furthermore, I was named my school's first team captain in over 5 years and have become a leader both on the field and off the field to my teammates.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
