My name is David Bredhoff. I am 26 years old. I played for Cornell University as the starting left fielder from 2002 to 2004 and was named to the ivy league honor role in 2002: http://www.ivyleaguesports.com/article.asp?intID=1600. My statistics for 2003 and 2004 are available at: http://www.thebaseballcube.com/teams/team_20295.shtml.
In addition to playing for Cornell, I also played in the elite New York Collegiate Baseball League during the summers. In high school, I led my varsity team for three years to a combined record of 65 and 8, posting a career average of .380. While I have not been on a team for a few years, I have maintained excellent physical condition, regularly working out and have kept my college playing weight. Although I did not pitch in college, I have worked on it in my down time and would like to show a team what I can do - I throw left-handed. In addition to my love for baseball, I have a passion for experiencing different cultures and teaching. I taught at an underpriviledged school in New York City from 2004-2005, and served as a volunteer for the Peace Corps in Mozambique for the past 18 months. I would be honored to represent my country in Europe and humbly learn your culture while doing everything I could to lead my team to a league championship.
