The Hungarian National Team roster for the European Championship Qualifier was announced. The team is playing in Trnava, Slovakia from Monday July 5th thru Saturday July 12th. Their opponents are Ukraine, Romania, Finland and host Slovakia.

Head Coach Ingo Gottwald about his team: ?After not participating in a CEB tournament since 2004, the Hungarian senior team was rebuilt in 2008 by a new coaching staff to compete in this year?s Qualifier. Overall the Hungarian squad consists of 18 players and two coaches. The players were selected in a Try-Out day in April and worked out together on several national team training days. As one of the underdogs in their tournament, the Hungarian team is hoping to upset the favorites like Ukraine and Slovakia.?
