Shortly before the signing deadline, the Belgian club NAMUR ANGELS added infielder
Evan Romanchuk for the reminder of the regular season and the playoffs. He joins fellow Great Britain national teammate
Jason Holowaty, who came to NAMUR about ten days ago.
Romanchuk attended Santa Rosa Junior College and San Francisco State University the past years and played in the independent Golden Baseball League this spring. He was released by the Victoria Seals on May 19.
He is the fourth new player to join the ANGELS in the past two weeks after
Holowaty, Brian Hurld and
Todd Emr. They play against the BRASSCHAAT BRAVES this weekend.
