The LONDON METS will fancy their chances to add 2 wins to their current 10-4 record, with the CROYDON PIRATES (0-16) being their visitors for a double-header on Sunday. The likely sweep for the METS would officially eliminate CROYDON from play-off contention (barring late-season forfeits) and would push the LONDON side 1 game ahead of the HERTS FALCONS (12-6), who have a rest week from the highly competitive title race.
South of the River Thames, the RICHMOND FLAMES - keen to make amends for last weekend's sweep by the METS - will be entertaining the BRACKNELL BLAZERS. The double-header will complete the two teams' six-game set in 2009, a series that the BLAZERS currently lead 3-1. RICHMOND will be aware that two losses would make a top-two finish difficult to achieve.
