CARDS STAY PERFECT AGAINST EAGLES
Saturday in Bern, the Cardinals, (8-0), beat the Reussbuehl Eagles,(1-5), handily in both ends of the doubleheader. Game one featured 17 strikeouts from Cards pitcher as Chris Beyeler remained perfect on the season, striking out eight in five innings, moving to 4-0. Chris also kept alive his personal winning streak, he has now won twelve straight games. The Cardinals overcame three solo homeruns by Ryan Rothford, Rudy Vargas, and J. Tobias Imboden, (0-0), took the mound for the final four innings, recording nine strikeouts, while allowing only one more Eagle to score.

Game two featured Severin Fries' first start of the season. Before he had a chance to pitch though, his team ran out to a 5-0 lead.
