The group B, there is more surprises then in Group A.

What happen with Italy, the first game no troubles with Ukraine, the second game loss with France, which has strong squad. Tomorrow we will more clever with italian ambitions for an olymic games. They will play against GB team who starts EC very well and they have one foot in a final group. Nobody expect that they loss with Ukraine team. France is the next team who will probably in a final round. Beat Russia and Italy, two strong teams. Will be Tuesday's game France vs. GB the game for a winner of group B ? Spain team, hidden favourite of EC has no so good start, after surprised loss against very well played GB team, they beat Ukraine team 5-4, when they won the game in 8th inning. Russia and Ukraine haven't there teams for a promoting final group.

But everything should be otherwise, who assumed that after two game will be in a lead position GB and France ?

Spain got lucky today with their win over Ukraine.

Big surprise in Group B, Italy will not play for an olympic games participation, they will also not play for any medal and finally for promotion to World Championship. They will play against Czech Republic for a 7th place in EC. Big disappointment from italian results. What will happen in Italy, what will be decision after EC in a FIBS ? GB group win and bringing 2 wins into final round give GB team a real chance fight for an EC medals. My expectation is 2nd place for GB squad. Today GB team had no troubles with Ukraine and shutouot them 9-0. Second Spain had perplexed start to EC, but won against Italy and France increased their chances to fight for an EC medals. France played very well during tournament, but finally I don't expect that they will receive any medal in a final. The second disappointment in a group B is Russia, although they promoted to elite EC last year, nobody expected their lost against Ukraine.
