Default High quality pitcher wanted

Both roster spots are filled!!!

Hello,

We are a baseball team from Utrecht in The Netherlands and we are looking for a quality pitcher (ind., div 1 or 2) to complete our pitcher staff. In 2005 and 2006 we had 2 players over here from SDSU and the San Diego Black Storm (AAA SDABL) team. They helped us really well and together we became champion in 2005. In 2006 one of them came again and this time he brought another friend (SDSU) and again it was a successful season.

For season 2008 we are looking for a very good pitcher (88+ Mph) who can help us to become champion so we can move up a division. We also have budget for another player so anybody who is interested does not have to come alone. We will ask for stats and check references because recruiting on the internet is very hard to do.

You must be available from March 16 up to the beginning of October. There is a summer break in July / August (4 weeks).

We have money for plane tickets and have free housing. We also have an arrangement (work) which will provide you with money to live on during your stay.

If you are looking for a professional deal then this is not it. If you are willing and open-minded enough then this opportunity will be a nice chance to experience a different culture and country and you can play baseball as a bonus.

Because there is no real professional baseball in Europe our season is different then in the U.S. We play once a week (mostly Sunday) and practice twice a week) The 2 divisions above us plays a bit more (Saturday and Sunday).

Look at the following link to see a small video and some pics

If you are interested and think you are qualified to do the job then feel free to contact us.

Hope to hear from anybody interested.
